JANUARY IN REVIEW
The good news is, in 2020, I'm pushing myself harder to do a lot of things I'll ordinarily feel so lazy to do. One of those is trying to read the bible every day. Truthfully, this is hard for me. But I got this app that lets me be on a daily/weekly/monthly plan covering a specific topic of the bible within a period. So, you get to choose the plan that speaks to your current situation and get courage from God's word.
For the past ten days, I've been studying on Wisdom for practical life. This app has helped me a lot, especially the times I forget to read, and it sends me a reminder. Oh wow! This thing called procrastination is dead and buried in my life. πππ
January started with a slight disappointment, but as always, this slight disappointment would not define the rest of the year. I would not tear my hair out about it. We muuuve! πͺπͺI'll probably share the gist sometime in the nearest future. I can't do that now, sha, since I'm still recuperating.
We thank God January ended as soon as we hoped. But why the rush really? People like us suffering from gerascophobia do not find it funny when the year runs so fast. π¬π¬
So, I just finished reading I am Malala by Malala Yousoufzai, and then I realise that it is the little things we do that matters a great deal, not the big things we aspire to do. While it is good to aspire, require, and to inspire to walk in the moon, how memorable has your walk on earth been?
This is a prelude to my next blog post. In my next blog post, I'll share my opinions on religious extremism as deduced from Malala's book and personal experience.
BTW, in my resolve to evolve (baddd linesππ) and try out new things, I'll be starting a podcast soon. And don't worry about reading long posts on my blog when you're tired. Trust me to bring you the vocal version of my blog posts. How you see am? Well, I'll be bringing my amateur audio editing skills to bear and show myself small kwanu. Anticipate!
It has always been my pleasure to have you here.ππ
